KTAO-FM was a free-form radio station in Los Gatos, California, that existed from March, 1969, through June, 1974, and operated at 95.3 FM. The KTAO Aircheck Archives comprise audio collages with instruments played in the studio to be used as taped effects; a "jam" session recorded July 29, 1971; and an interview with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans interviewed in Los Gatos by Geoff Alexander and Don Campau, June 9, 1971, at a residence in Los Gatos, California. In addition, the collection includes images of KTAO operators and musicians in 1974; photographs of the 40th anniversary reunion; original Los Gatos business license (1974); several images of counter-culture posters; letter from Gary R. Dahl to Roger Mann.

This collection is comprised of audio recordings of programs broadcast by Louisville radio station WHAS. The collection is especially strong in documenting a wide range of state, national, and world political figures and news events during the late 1930s, throughout the 1940s, and into the middle 1950s. Entertainment programs include soap operas, musical variety shows, country music, and sporting events such as the Kentucky Derby.

Papers and recordings of radio personality and anchorman Mort Crim, known popularly as the inspiration for the Will Ferrell character in the Anchorman film. Crim was an alumnus of Anderson University and left his personal papers, recordings, and scripts to the University archives, where they are stored.

Radio program Latino USA began production by KUT and the Center for Mexican American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin in 1993. In 2010 production moved to the Futuro Media Group. Still produced by Maria Hinojosa and aired on NPR today, Latino USA presents stories on Latina/o history, culture, and current affairs.
