The organization has a set of radio historian John Dunning's interviews of radio personalties (about 50+ interviews), approximately 100 scripts of mixed genre, including Escape, First Nighters, Gunsmoke and The Whistler, a collection of 1,200 16" transcription discs of mixed genre, including big bands, AFRS and World War II bond drives that are being transferred to CDs as of 2005 and a lending library of cassettes.
Russell Edward Brimhall of Hatch, New Mexico, entered the US Navy Training School (Radio), Company 17, on July 22, 1943. The US Navy Radio School was located at the University of Colorado in Boulder from 1942 to 1944 and trained 29 companies. The collection consists of Brimhall’s autobiography, entitled This is My Story: A Rocky Road. The 235 page manuscript deals with not only Brimhall’s World War II experiences, but those of his entire life.
