The J. David Goldin Collection includes nearly 10,000 radio programs on 16" discs broadcast from the 1930s through the 1950s. The programs include variety shows, radio plays, political speeches, news programs, documentary programs, advertisements, and music programs.

The Archive of Recorded Sound's Non-Commercial Disc Collections consist of over 10,000 phonographic disc recordings from a variety of donors, the majority of which are either broadcast transcriptions or instantaneous recordings. None were ever available for sale to the general public, and many are unique.
Over 250 16-inch broadcast transcriptions dated from July of 1941 through February of 1950, divided more or less evenly between news material (principally from the NBC "Blue" network) and "classical" music: largely orchestral music, with some opera selections.
The collection documents Frances Wallace's many musical activities during her long career as a pianist and organist in Atlanta, and it provides a glimpse of Atlanta's musical scene during the middle years of the twentieth century.The Wallace papers are organized into four series: (I) Personal records; (II) Scripts and performance notes; (III) Music; and (IV) Audio-visual materials. she performed frequently on piano and organ on WSB, WAGA and WCON radio, as well as at the Roxy theater, Rich's and Davison's department stores, and made notable appearances with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra.

Transcription discs of local radio broadcasts, 1946-1964, primarily of contemporary classical music performances and including some broadcasts of premieres (world premieres, first radio broadcasts, and first Washington performances), recorded by Rothschild, and some live recordings from Chamber Music Society of Baltimore concerts. Radio stations recorded include WBAL, WJZ, WCAO, WFBR, WITH, and WRC. The collection also includes several popular and jazz recordings, commercial releases, and some private home performances. Recordings of Chamber Music Society of Baltimore concerts and local radio broadcasts on reel-to-reel tapes, 1955-1991. The collection includes several world premieres from CMS concerts and other notable performances in broadcasts (first Washington performances, etc.). Radio recordings are concentrated in earlier recordings while CMS performances are concentrated later. The collection also includes a large subsection of recordings from Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz.
