Compilation of 40 recordings of advertisements promoting the purchase of U.S. savings bonds which aired on Portland area stations. The spots often featured celebrity guest stars, including Mel Torme, Maureen O'Hara, "Tennessee" Ernie Ford and others.
Consists of manuscripts of novels, novelettes, short stories, articles, comic strip treatments, radio scripts and motion picture treatments. The correspondence relates mainly to Curry's professional and business affairs with some personal letters. Online finding aid lists titles of the radio scripts but not dates or the names of the programs.

KBOO’s analog audio archive includes almost 7,500 items of radio programming in 5, 7, 10″ open reel, CDs, cassettes, DATs, and minidiscs format. KBOO Community Radio went on the air in June of 1968, and radio program recordings date from the late 1940s. This is a collection created from institutional records. This collection is unprocessed. Our archives include Oregon artists Ken Kesey, Ursula LeGuin, Gus Van Sant, political figures such as Kent Ford, and Winona LaDuke, as well as hundreds of poets, hundreds of artists, and hundreds of activists, both recorded lectures, panels, conferences, and street actions. We also have significant live music recordings from Doc Watson to Elliot Smith.

Highlights include: D-Day invasion news, a translation of a Hitler speech from Danzig, live coverage of an atomic bomb detonation, speeches by presidents Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman and Dwight Eisenhower, British prime minister Winston Churchill and New York governor Thomas Dewey. National entertainment programs include soap operas such as Lora Lawton and musical variety shows. Local highlights include Roosevelt's speech from Bremerton, WA, local news programs, Mayor Earl Riley's blackout order for Portland following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, coverage of the last run of the Spokane, Portland & Seattle Railway's train to Seaside, OR, educational programs such as Reading is Fun and the local variety show, Grandpappy and Pals.
