Contains manuscripts of radio lectures on mathematics, mathematicians and the solar system by Kent and others which were aired on WTAW, College Station, TX, 1945-1950.
Papers include the order of events for the radio program that covered the ceremony decommissioning and recommissioning the battleship into the Texas Navy, April 11-June 11, 1948, and transcripts of speeches.
Contains 135 transcripts of broadcasts made by the Governor, 1939-1941, most of which were regular weekly Sunday morning half hour programs and some special events. Weekly programs were usually religion based and family oriented although he also discussed legislative and social issues. Also includes some papers relating to the broadcasts.
Bryson was a broadcaster with KTSM, El Paso, TX, 1936-1954, and later a TV news anchor. Collection includes radio scripts for several programs, including Fort Bliss Centennial, Pathfinders of Medicine, 25th Anniversary, Magoffin, Gifts of the Season, El Paso Pays Tribute, Master of Music, Over SW Trails, Voice of El Paso, Southern Union Gas Co. Industry at the Pass of the North, Men of Vision, Through the Years, Farm Reporter and other special programs.
